I am thankful for Star Trek: it seems ridiculous to some. But big picture ST defined my sense of social justice and shaped my ideas of where humanity can go if we would only be honest about ourselves. In the snapshot, it helped me to see that I can embrace who I am. The problem is that I was always a bit like Spock. And it taught me that was okay. The odd man out in one place is the epicenter of a family somewhere else... I need only find that somewhere else.
The other two things will take sometime to figure out. I haven't felt very thankful or positive for a while.
But at least I have a job.
