an update

Updates are so...
Well they are a lot like those Christmas letters that we get from people who used to write us personally. They feel stilted and rushed, there is never enough detail but we would complain if a Christmas letter went 30 pages and we'd be offended not to be updated. So I guess that is kinda a bad reason not to do an update. But on the one hand I just don't want to burden you guys with the not so much fun stuff.

I have found someone who is going to do more than put me on Metformin for the PCOS. I'm now on the pill. This doctor thinks that the combo of hormones and metformin will regulate me faster than the metformin alone. Awesome. But both docs are wrong about it fixing the rosacae.

I am into week 8 of a new wonderful romance. It takes up a lot of time. But it is something that is making a lot of things that I used to get frazzled about seem pointless. We've been geeking out with board games and doing searches for new games. I hope that money evens out so that I can surprise him this Christmas.

Matthias Reim has set the concert dates. We are headed to Germany for December. Between my cousins house and the venue is a Christmas villiage. I see a delightful Weinachtzeit in Deutschland!

And then there is work and health. Been sick a lot lately. Mostly migranes. But a weird sinus thing that was caused by aspirating a piece of spinach. Um.. yeah talking and laughing while eating is potentially hazzardous. After sounding like a cartoon squirrel sans moose for almost two weeks the grey matter that dislodged itself from my nasal cavity via mouth was unnerving. It honestly looked like an alien larva pouch. I guess when the body lables something as foreign it is serious about getting rid of it. And the migranes last for days now when I get them. Yikes!

Other than that not much is going on. I have found the conspirators at work. And I have formulated a plan. I will save my job. But I will not have the schedule I deserve. I get the 2nd shift. ITs the clean up shift. I prefer first. First sets the pace for the day. I may not have gotten as much laundry done as the others. But I did keep my commons areas... ALL my commons areas clean and I did bother to keep the employee bathroom clean. And do linens because the other two cried about how much they hated them. Oh well... they will find out that those two aren;t the right people to have on first.

  1. Amazing how much clearer our minds work when we're in love with someone.

  2. November 2015: Shayne, I miss you buddy. As you know Germany never happened and that wonderful romance only lasted a few weeks past this posting though it took a while to actually end it. And it apparently only took a hiatus of about 3 years. NO! Don't worry. If you've been watching from your place in heaven you know how unlikely a real mulligan would be. And as for the other matter: Fooled twice. Shame on me.
Seriously, brah, you have got to send me some winning lottery numbers or something because this is getting to be a ridiculously lousy stint. My mind doesn't work when I am in love. My mind doesn't work in panic mode. In panic mode I am likely to think everything is love just so that there is a guaranteed rope to grab when the bottom falls out of things.
