Last year we were under feet of snow and had been since late October. This year, just week or so from Christmas and there is only a threat of snow. The 4 inches we got for Thanksgiving left as quick as it came.
It doesn't feel like the season. And there is no real pressure to do things up for the holiday. I don't want ornaments until there is glittery sugary snow contrasting them. It sure is windy though. Sounds like a hurricane out there. I half expect to see white capes on the little inland lake we live near. It is more likely that one of these trees will cast a limb.
Tonight everything gyres and gimbles in the wabe & it's too cold for the mome raths to outgrabe.
